Here's my count:

Mary Jane Watson
Sue Storm-Richards
White Queen of Narnia
Susan
Lucy
Kyra
The woman from the Odaku Armory
Tia Dalma
Elizabeth Swann (if she exists in minifig-form)

Any others?

edited to add the names of the women from Pirates of the Caribbean II.

That'll be the Evil Queen Scylla then.

As for Miss Swann check this:

And then about 50 seconds in to this trailer POTENTIAL SPOILERS!:
Pirates Trailer

I'd say that was her (figs a bit too, um, 'endowed' to be a bloke IMO.

From the Fantasy series there are 2(though with combinations many more).

Generic mom/daughter more Little Evil Gnome Organization like with
changing hairstyles/colors. The neat thing about these figs, both
women and men is that the torso connects to the legs with a central
pin that has 2 indentations to make figs of 2 different heights to have
parents and children. Also the feet fit between the studs not over them.

The 9404 shopping Avenue has a fig with Rapunzel-like hair like a
regular doll that can be brushed and styled.

Lets not forget the witch/queen from 9601 Legends Lions Kingdom.

The Yellow Power Ranger is a girl. You could paint 1 pink to get the second one.

As an aside Mary Jane Watson could fill in for April O'Neil in the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Series.

Thats all to could add unless you want to count any of the androgenous
figs that are assumed to be boys/men. Joan of Arc in armor was assumed
to be a man.

Steve

PS: I just noticed with the exception of Tia Dalma(assume the one Dave
described in "Review of 1012...") and the White Queen all the figs on
Dave's list come in the more expensive sets.

Thanks for the info, Steve! I wouldn't even have thought of the Power Rangers. I wonder why they haven't produced a Pink Ranger.

I actually own a few sets from Fantasy line, since 1993 was about the time that I got into Mega Bloks. Along with the Dinosaurs and Legends lines, these were my introduction to the joys of colors not blessed by a certain other brand!

An anonymous woman also appears in several of the Xtreme Sports sets, while we're at it. But I was primarily interested in "named" female figs. In any case, it's a pretty small population! And you're completely right in your observation that they tend to appear in the more expensive sets.

Incidentally, the 9412 Party Playground also included a minifig with clownface makeup. Not necessarily female, but it's a neat little artifact from early Mega Bloks history!

First off its nice to know that somebody else will admit to owning a Fantasy set. There are a lot of pieces in those sets that are not in any others.

We (my daughter) has pieces from that set. Its a remake of the 9403 Fantasy Birthday party based on the picture on the back of 9406 Fantasy Wedding. If the picures are accurate the clowns are mirror images. Both have ballons and carousel and woman's dress, 9403= blue 9412=pink. The 9403 matches up to the Legend's 9603 Catapult, box top being part of the build. I wonder why they didn't include the clown figure in the 9601 Legend Lion's Kingdom, it would make a good court jester.

We have the 9401,9402,9403,9404,9406,9415,952,9412 in whole or in part as parts, buckets, instructions. To my knowledge we need the 9405 and the 9411. The 9411 is a nursery with a baby. My daughter really wants that one. I want it too for different reasons. I believe it is the only set with babies. The pictures show 2 babies in bonnets on what looks to be little tiny bodies. Would you have that one??

And adding to the unnamed list the bride in the 9406 Fantasy Wedding is a brunnette with brushable hair the one I mentioned before is a blonde.

There is also a white one (dude) they didn't make. My conspiracy theory mind thinks its because Mega Bloks thought the yellow was a guy and the white one a girl.lol

I could have sworn I had seen one in a couple of those sets

(my daughter just walked in saw I had picked up the POC2 sets and
the first thing she said was,"Hey! Theres more girls in these! of course she didn't stop there, "OOOH! cool squidy dude" etc.)

but like a lot of the sets my daughter played with when she was younger I can't seem to find half the parts, instructions etc. I have a feeling they went up the hose of my wife's vacuum cleaner. Now we do things differently. All the sets are mine and she gets to play with them. For whatever reason since they are mine she takes much better care of them.

Boy did I digress!!

PS: I am trying to emulate some things you do in your posts and hope you don't mind. Using bold on the set names really does help a lot too read.

Sadly, I have just a handful of pieces from that one. I got them in a hodgepodge of loose clone bricks on eBay a few years back, and I don't recall a baby among the pieces.

No problem at all! I'm just glad that the forum's interface supports quickie-html so readily!

Yes indeed, IMO. I do it partly for my own benefit/amusement, but if it's useful to others, so much the better!

By the way--I didn't realize that your Mega Bloks collection reached so far back and so comprehensively. I've never even seen the 9406 Fantasy Wedding outside of eBay!

Neither have I, that's where I got it from. Strangly I was able to do a pickup since the seller lived about 5 miles away from me.

You started before me . It was the Planetoids that caught my eye. Since then I have tried to aquire as much old as I can on Ebay. For all I know I could have made you swear a few times. Right now I have 2 9403 sets on the way 1 is supposedly still sealed!! I just got today(with a bunch of other)a 9215 Western Bucket. I had the instructions and a bunch of parts but not complete, now hopefully....

They did. I was cruising the japanese Mega Bloks site and found this:

Just adds to the set availability mystery as far as I am concerned.

Also there seem to be female figs in a few of the Bandai/Mega Bloks sets that have names. I don't have any so I don't know what they are.

Doh! That's a GREAT catch--I haven't been on the Japanese site in weeks, and it wouldn't have occurred to me to scan the population of minifigs.

Come to think of it, wasn't there a female Power Rangers
villain at one point?

I know that the One Piece
line included female figs, though I don't know if any of the Masked Raider stuff did. I don't know anything about either of those story-universes, so I can't guess who might be behind the various masks.

On a related note, I've seen non-Mega Bloks toys for One Piece at a few local stores lately, likely owing to that series' presence on the Cartoon Network. It would be a long-shot, but I'd love to see the Mega Bloks One Piece stuff make an appearance, too.

And on a related related note, I just learned of a store in the Pittsburgh area that deals in Japanese pop-culture toys, with a whole litter full of Hello Kitty stuff. Alas, no Mega Bloks. So close!

Again, though--great spotting, Steve!
