Did I hear themed locations?! That means buildings and land, hooray. Smiley And that SEAL team.. way too cool looking.

EDIT: (After calming down enough to read the descriptions and look closer.
Love all the accessories like the E-tools, computers, knives, walkie-talkies... So far my biggest complaint is some of the weapons, I'd prefer if some weren't both black and tan, but I know its to allow for greater customization and creations, just bothers me a little.

Here's a question for you Tim.. Why do you guys (The company) have to be so smart, and do almost everything the way it should be?
Also, why can't I get a job yet? Smiley

When somebody gets a hold of these, please do a review of the figures. The shoulder joint looks new, giving it the extra poseability, but it also looks like it could be a pain for pop-n-swap customization.

It's just that the shoulders remind me of ones from actual action figures, and trying to pop an arm off an action figure would generally break it.

I am sufficiently jealous of folks getting early sets. I'm looking at the three most expensive sets and thinking "Want that... and that... and that... damnit, wallet!"

Mega has found the one thing that can unite the UNSC, the Covenant, and the Prometheans! A competing franchise!

(and being more of a Call of Duty fan than Halo, these are even something of a draw for me...)

So, as of current, the arms are not compatible with any previous sets in terms of pop-n-swap. Legs, and heads, however, are. Good to know.

Funny you mention this as I found myself thinking about this very situation...all the sets look great, but w/ their increased articulation, who exactly are they being called to their duty; against?
As COD is nationality-based; I'm hoping we see a Canadian representation in future waves, and of course some Russians Smiley

Not sure that nationality is going to play a part in COD sets; I doubt MB wants to bring national politics into a line of kids' toys. My guess is that we'll either get good guys-only sets, or generic good guys (read: American & British) and generic bad guys.

Personally, I would want some WW2-era Germans (and Nazi Zombies!), but considering, again, that these are kids' toys, it'll never happen.

I would think any of the "teams" from the series would be fair game - and the characters named show they plan to dig from both current "series" (Modern Warfare and Black Ops). They could also very easily add the older "World at War" for some AWESOME WWII sets.

As much as I hate to say it, these sets actually make the Halo series feel a little stale to me! (Of course, I'm so deep in that series right now I'm finding it hard to get out! Smiley )

Still, I hope these do really well and this line continues on for some time! KILL CONFIRMED!

I dunno, I could see zombies coming on the scene considering everyone loves/hates zombies. I only mention nationality as some figures have the deco showing them as such and other countries soldiers may look different.
If nothing else, I guess they can just be out performing training exercises Smiley

(Or maybe the WoW zombies can finally get some work Smiley )

Yeah, this is my one fear for this line - that somebody will decide to protest it due to depiction of actual people fighting each other. It was easy when it was Orcs or Dragons or Aliens... Smiley

True. I hope you're right regarding zombies.

I suppose MB could get away with national squads, if they merely design them to look the part, without actually identifying them as such. I sure would love some Not-Spetsnaz micro troopers Smiley .
