Hey I came across this board while searching for info about old building block sets. Hard to find good info out there and this website seems to have a lot. I have old pieces and sets I'm trying to put together again without any pictures/instructions to go by. Frustrating.

Hi there! Welcome to the board! What sets do you have, Lego? Best Lock? Mega Bloks? True that set instructions are quite hard to come by, I hope you find what you are looking for Smiley

You might be suprised at how many of us happen to have the directions for older sets. It's possible that you might be able to get a photo or a PDF from some of our more seasoned members to assist you in assembling your older sets.

Of course, it would be nice to know what you are trying to assemble? Which manufacturers and which lines you collect and such?

I've been working on putting together a Beige/Tan Apache Attach helicopter that looks like an old Tyco set with the traditional 1.5 size bricks, but they are unbranded pieces. Does anyone know what other brands have the 1.5 brick size? Thanks for responding! Maybe I can post some links later.

Well you're well outside of my area of interest there. Mega Bloks I may be able to help with but I would be no help whatsoever on a Tyco set.

Thanks for responding. I have several Mega Bloks sets as well. I may chat with you about some of them later. Right now my focus is on this one set I'm trying to get right. Thanks again!

In case you're still wanting to talk about Mega Bloks, I'm looking at a nice Japanese-style Dojo roof of the Dragons Metal Ages 9812 Odaku Armory and was wondering if you or anyone has seen it in any other Mega Bloks sets? Or is this roof unique to this set?
