Hello all. I am a father of three. I have enjoyed building toys with my 2 sons and now my daughter has taken a big interest in them also. I enjoy buying bulk lots and try to resurrect complete sets from them. I am always looking to gain additional knowledge and resources to help me figure out what sets various pieces I have come from.
Welcome to the forum! Thats exactly how I started collecting Lego as a child, our family went into a second hand store and they had a Lego train for 5 dollars! It was incomplete, so of course, I had to finish it, haha, it was a rainbow metro train, but I loved it. How long have you been into building toys? Any favorite brands, or lines?
In my younger years it was Lincoln logs, Tinkertoys and Erector sets. Kids are mostly interested in Lego style building now. I think it is because I am the sorter and they are the builders. Some Knex sets are neat. 3d puzzles are a challenge. Don't really have a favorite brand or theme. If I see something interesting to build I'll give it a try.
