It's all over but the paintin' here in VA. Here's to MSG induced headaches and Excedrin induced insomnia. Time to acquire some materials for a fun display vignette.

Was just looking at the posting date to see when I need to have my action shots finished, and realized that we don't have an actual hard date, only the 1 month from posting. Is that an actual 31 days or 4 weeks?
Can't believe it's only been a week so far.

Looks like that insomnia served you well. I'm finished with the figure, but I had to order some parts for my action vignette - well, I didn't have too, but it was too good an idea to pass up... Anyway, thanks for letting everyone know. If all the contestants finish early, we can move on to the judging portion!!!

Let's say 30 days, unless all contestants post that they are completely done and ready to turn in their assignments to Valo.
I think identifying the owners of the figs are going to be fairly easy as we all have pretty different styles. You're right the diorama will be the easiest give away to figure out who's fig is who's. Not sure there is any way around that... No blind taste testing around here

Not sure if the dio's are getting posted for mass consumption or not. Guess that's the judges call. I don't see the judges impartiality being affect even if we signed our names, but since money is involved, I prefer to do everything possible to insure fairness.

I'd think best option would be that the individual shots are used for judging only, dios for the masses as to not affect judges decisions by viewers comments on the quality, etc.
Not that I think the judges would be impacted by such trivialities, but as you said since ¥ is involved...

But the judges requested action shots for judging the playability of the customs... If you want action shots alone, then the dio's should just wait - or are the masses not being given voting rights?
