Wednesday I picked up an out of town friend and helped do some charity work. We stopped by Bungie and they were nice enough to buy us lunch at the restaurant underneath the studio.
Thursday I went to a local Halo Primordium Book event. The event though small was awesome. Greg Bear was there signing and some of the 343i crew was there talking about the book and halo4 (Frankie, Alison, BSangel, David, and Kevin). 343i gave me some disappointing news, supposedly halowaypoint won't be covering toyfair later in the month. This lends me to believe we won't see to much halo at toyfair, probably because of the secrecy surrounding h4 and this year will be heavy in h4 merch.
Funny thing too, I don't know if Frankie and some others had ever seen my car. Well they did thursday night, Frankie with several other 343i people pulled up right behind me at the parking attendant booth as I was leaving.
Yesterday night I went to a couple walmarts and was able to find 2 phantoms @$40 each. Check out the tax on one of them, freaky.
I also picked up my first revenant at a local target, it seems theyre everywhere now.
Only bad thing that happened was a little fender bender on the way to picking up my friend on wednesday. Now the halo car has a little battle damage.

Wow you are so lucky. I wish I got a signed copy of Primordium. I got it in the mail on Thursday, and because it's my birthday today my dad ordered me Glasslands. Once I read these two by the end of the month I'll have to wait another year before any more come out, ugh.
Wow that is a beautiful picture. Where did you get the $27 Phantoms?
P.S. Glasslands is an amazing book. I think it is even better than the Ghost of Onyx, and that one was my favorite.
I was just thinking about Halo 3 and came up with this idea. I don't know if it would work, but it would be worth a shot. Would it be possible to paint one of those phantoms green to make it look like the rebel phantoms from Halo 3.

I so planed on getting help from Risko to make a Scarab(reason for another phantom), but I don't know now that we might see one next fall.
