I figured I'd post my thoughts down here as not to clutter the main post:
-Series Maverick

Blue as I and several others expected. I like it, but the NMPD officer seems like a waste of space. I love that we finally get a classic grunt again, but his skin should be black, they were never that color before. The marine has a new chest piece and that security spartan is a good new mold.

-Gungoose

Love the Halo 3 figures and the color scheme. It also seems like a tribute to the original mongoose set.

-Jackrabbit

It's a pretty standard Walmart exclusive type set, recolored vehicle and a bunch of figures.

-Builder's Forge

Interesting idea, we'll see if all 9 models actually look good. The problem being that it's $30 so if you do like all 9 models it'll be $270 if want want to have them all built and displayed at once.

-Wolverine

So much better! It doesn't have those ridiculous rockets anymore or those awful fragile ball joints that break from being attached. Plus, they seem to have been inspired by Vince's rebuild (especially the gun next to the cockpit).

-Marines Customizer

Flame Marine gets another redesign, but uninteresting otherwise.

Yeah, that is a nice looking Wolverine. That vehicle was about due for an update. I love that the big spring-loaded missile launcher has been replaced with something more buildable. although to be fair, the issue with the ball-joint sockets was pretty much solved by the time the arctic and night-attack/Flood hunter variants came around.

I have the Covert-ops Wolverine and when I first built it the ball joints cracked when I attached them, but stayed together. When I went to dust it a few months later the turret fell off as soon as a picked it up. (To be fair, I live in Florida so the awful heat and humidity could've effected it.)

It seems like it's been a while since we really had anything to talk about all at once, just things popping up here and there. The new articulation grunts, for example, slipped almost completely under my radar until I had one in hand from series Warrior. But seeing all these new sets pop up reminds me of the toy fairs we'd talk about for weeks (and kind of makes up for the lackluster showing at the actual toy far this time around).

The Halo 3 armor types in the new style (even though there are only three of them) really renewed my interest in this line when we first saw the new arctic hog, and I'm glad to see we'll be getting them in more colors with the rest of the summer wave. It looks like a good mix of classic and new, and (mostly) sorted out by actual sets this time! (entirely H3 warthog set, mostly H3/H2A mongoose set)

Series Maverick:
I'm not much of a fan of the super bright silver on the ODSTs, and this one looks like it should at least have the helmet stripe.
NMPD officer isn't too different from the others, just a bit more blue.
Marine looks nice, good to have some variety
I'm not familiar with the Avalon armor, but it looks nice and simple compared to most of the more complicated H4/5 armors (maybe even a bit too smooth, kind of odd).
Translucent Cyan Rogue (oddly listed as helioskrill), I'm not really a fan of these figures other than just that they look neat, and this one certainly does.
Cyan Recon looks to be the favorite. Combined with the last one it looks like someone on the design team might be an RVB fan, but it may have just been inevitable with the few H3 armors available and the current color scheme.
I'm not sure how much sense the elite commander in the dark blue "minor" color scheme makes canon-wise, but I do really like that mold and it's nice to have it in more colors.
Colors on the grunt are odd, not sure about that one.

Gungoose Rampage
Not really a fan of the mongoose but the crimson shade turret is very, very welcome, as is the Halo 3 spartan duo. Would have liked to see a Halo 3 grunt as well, but what're ya gonna do?

Arctic Jackrabbit Assault
Could pass on this one easily, not too into the newer stuff, but the blue spartans look nice and the brutes have some really cool detail.

Builder's Forge
Now this one is unique and right up my alley. Lots of terrain plates, accessories like the sandbags, and even an unexpected return to the original mongoose design! The rebuildable aspect is pretty cool too, but I expect I would keep any I get as the mongoose. Also, get enough of those walls and you could have a mini-firebase.

Wolverine Charge
I'm not personally interested but it looks like a really cool set with some great figure choices. I'd worry a bit about those joints holding up the missile batteries.

Marines Customizer pack
The designs look a little plain and brightly colored, cool but not very realistic-looking. The extra armor bits don't look like they'd be much help either since they wouldn't replace the lower arms or legs. Lots of cool weapons though.

New drop pods
These look like nice updated versions of the original drop pod sets. The figures look like perhaps some of the first new-style ODSTs that recapture the original level of detail.

Overall, lots of updates to classic sets and figures with some new stuff mixed in. IMO this wave is doing a lot to respond to concerns raised by the switch to the new figure style, and by the general increase in set quality outpacing the older stuff. It seems like there's something being pulled from every era of the line to be remade with new techniques and I think that's very cool.

Not to be a downer, but based on the sales performances and a certain cryptic comment in the toy fair video, I've been beginning to suspect the Halo line might not be around for much longer. If that's the case, I'd say this is a pretty decent way to end it.

If it does continue though, I'd really like to see more waves like this. Realistically, I'd expect/hope for more of the new drop pod missions, more usage of the articulated grunts and Halo 3 armors, and maybe even different terrain/blok color variants of the Builder's forge with new alternate builds.

The large figure multi-pack for this year has been revealed, and it's Reach Infection-themed:

https://shop.megabrands.com/en-us/shop/construction-toys/halo/faithful-vs-fallen-battle-pack-frm20

https://www.megaconstrux.com/en-us/worlds/halo/playsets/faithful-vs-fallen-battle-pack-frm20

It looks like it's the same set of 10 figures in each color scheme, though some like the JFO and Air Assault MIGHT have different helmet attachments (It's hard to tell).

JFO (Reach)
EVA (Reach)
Air Assault (Reach)
Grenadier (Reach)
HAZOP (Reach)
Scout (Reach)
Commando (Reach)
Operator (Reach)
MK V (Reach)
MK IV (the odd Halo 3 armor out)

The "Faithful" have what looks like light blue armor and gold visors, while the "Fallen" have transparent green armor and silver visors (both EVAs have the Emile skull).

I'm not really sold on this one, though some specific figures look really cool. With half the figures restricted to the same weapon and a gimmicky armor style, I think it might have been better as a 16-figure set instead of 20. I can see it being a decent value if you want lots of Reach armor variants, though.

Looks like another new wave of sets has been revealed:

https://shop.megabrands.com/en-us/shop/construction-toys?brand=mega-construx&collection=halo

https://www.megaconstrux.com/en-us/worlds/halo/playsets

My rundown, assuming these actually make it to stores.

UNSC Woodland Gungoose
This looks like a much simpler design than prior gungeese with a very minimal rear section. The deco is neat, otherwise the set is largely unremarkable

Shields of Requiem Lance
A very similar set to the storm lance that was only a few waves ago, though this one has what looks to be a new articulation Ibie'shan jackal, the newest articulation grunt, and a ranger elite. The turret and new plants might be interesting.

ONI Strike Team
A cool concept, but in reality it's just some marines in a more drab color scheme and a firing missile (ugh). Still a good source for some grayish marines, which is always good.

Fireteam Castle
A return to the older spartans-only fireteams, for anyone who still wants those. The shoulders with the emblems might be interesting.

Operation Veritas Drop Pod
The color scheme is a bit meh compared to the last two, but it's an interesting choice at least. The only set from this wave I've seen in stores so far and for me it was a solid pass.

Corporate Security Cyclops
Nothing much to say but that it's another cyclops. Reminds me of the Orbital one they did in the old style with the black and gold color scheme.

Power Packs
These look like something I probably missed from not paying attention to the games. Translucent armor on solid undersuits with canisters filled with painted weapons. The energy bayonets are interesting, to say the least.

Heroes Series... 6?
Orange Spartan Athlon (Grifball?), Pink Spartan Helljumper, Shipmaster Let 'Volir, A.I. Roland, Spartan Grant, and Helmetless Jun. The figures look good and there are lots of details on the weapons and accessories that you might miss on first viewing.

Banished Banshee Brawl
A bit disappointed it's Banished and not Swords of Sanghelios, but it still looks like a cool set. The spartan looks a bit weird in almost being the classic Mega Spartan from the earliest waves, just in yellow and with a silver visor. That's also a new Spartan Laser mold I think.

Covenant Goblin Battlesuit
We already had this reveal I think, a good representation of the mech. I hadn't seen the buildable launching rocket effect though, that's pretty clever. (see? This is what we need instead of firing missiles!)

Spartan CTF Base Crashers
The blue team counterpart to the CTF warthog, just without the warthog and with an active camo Recon instead. I am absolutely loving the Halo 3 molds, even if we're just getting the same 3 (or same 2 and 1/2).

Micro Action Figures Stormbound Series
Metallic cobalt grunt, cyan(?)-detailed banished brute, active camo honor guard elite, metallic cobalt ODST, silver spartan hunter (Locke), black reach air assault, white spartan wetwork, and arctic halo wars marine. Might pass on this whole wave tbh, nothing really catches my attention (though the color theme appears to be "drab" so maybe that's intentional?). The ODST does look cool though, and if the paint is good on the marine the grey bits might be useful in pop-n-swaps.

I almost forgot this was a spring wave with how many sets there are, but far too many of them are "meh" figure packs. Only thing really "must-have" for me is the CTF blue team. The actual building sets all look decent for what they are, though.

I'm liking that Banshee. I'm certainly looking forward to the "Kingdom" line as well. Hopefully they will be well-designed.
