It appears to me that many of the COD new releases are very limited in number and then, at limited locations.
The two "shipping container" sets are widely available (Walmart, TRU & Amazon).
The ATV can be found on Amazon & at TRU.
The Office Zombies were at TRU for a very short time and then at collector prices on Amazon - never widespread.
The new Alpine troop pack only on Amazon sporadically
New Black Ops, same as above.
Parachutist - only for a short time at TRU online.
New Assault Drone - same as above
The 3rd Nuketown house was dropped with out ever being sold (AFAIK).
Makes me wonder if all the lines have these wacky releases and limited runs and why?

For some reason, I think I should save my game in a brand new slot.

The ATV is in-store at my local Wal-Mart, and I saw the Office Zombies there once. The Jungle Parachute and Assault Drone can also be sporadically found on Amazon. I've never seen Alpine Troopers or Advanced Soldiers in retail.

It's a shame. I go to my local TRU and they have some of the bigger sets, and the latest released WWII figure pack and airplane, but aside from the shipping containers none of the new sets you mentioned.

And never saw Zombie Nuketown myself. Whee.

IMO the Amazon-only releases are a marketing failure for which I can see no upside. Sure, an argument can be made that this allows them to pursue lower-appeal licenses, but even if the Terminator: Genisys film was a disaster, Star Trek is a half-century phenomenon still going strong! You can't tell me that the same company now filling stores with Shimmer and Shine is afraid that a Kirk/Spock/Bones set won't sell at retail!

Likewise Kubros, a long-odds diceroll if ever I saw one, is sitting on the shelves at every local (to me) store that stocks them.

Their post-Mattel marketing makes NO sense to me. The renamed the brand for dubious reasons, and now the kiddie-themed TMNT is 95% of all Mega that I see in Walmart, Target and KMart. Added to the sporadic and limited release schedule of fan-favorites, it's not unreasonable to conclude that they're trying to kill the brand.

I've been a fan for a quarter-century through some serious ups and downs, but they're always one step ahead when it comes to acting on strange marketing decisions.

On the other hand, I am truly glad to see them producing more girl-friendly sets, a market that Mega has short-changed for many years.

Not sure that "Welliewishers" are the silver bullet to re-energize the brand, but it's a nice development all the same.

But I'd really love to see a series of more empowering sets rather than another string of bakeries, pony rides and ballet studios, for example.

I find that odd. Here in Mexico we haven't received any 2017 or Destiny sets (only in very specific stores, walmart and supermarkets resets are supposed to happen in March), but the alpine troop pack, the new adnvanced warfare troop pack and the offcie zombies are actually pegwarming hard everywhere.

You might be able to work out some sort of swap with members here in the US, if you're looking for any sets that you can't find near you. Maybe post something in Marketplace?

I tried before, but the shipping is too prohibitive between countries to work out for any of the 2 parties.

Pssst. Guys. Hey, guys. They've got an "Arctic Outpost Armory" shipping container. It's blue. Unreleased but on Amazon.

Also here's the Amazon link to the not-in-stock "Care Package Troop Building Kit" - it's the one with the female figure.

Not much different there. The figure pack is the Urban Assault with the female and the blue container? Why not white? It makes as much sense as a blue one (or the red one for that matter).
Wish they would preview and release more than small COD builds and figure packs.

I thought he was WW2 soldier from Great Britain with desert camp. Not sure if that fits in with the COD game. Not sure if they had that type of mine rector in WW1....

I think a lot of figures are just based on CoD (which would make them based on any military in general), so they could add stuff that wasn't in the games to a figure that either was in a game or on the concept art.
