Hi,

Today is the most I've been able to see and use the forum. For the last day and a bit every time I tried to access the page all I got was a white screen. Before that for a few days nothing loaded passed the first ad banner. Even now nothing is loading passed Lego discussion. I use a Samsung galaxy phone. I hope this issue gets resolved soon. Thanks.

For our newer members in particular, let me clarify that this is something happening at the server level, so regrettably there's little that we can do to fix it here at The Bloks Forum.

The Hyperboards admins have been notified of the problem, but it remains to be seen whether they'll do anything about it.

Clearing your cache and cookies may help. The boards have been perpetually fine on my phone but iffy on both my home and work computers via Chrome. Just cleared cache and cookies at home and it appears to be okay now.

EDIT: This appears to be a temp fix as it's acting up in my Chrome again.

I've only been online here sporadically in the past few days because I'm having major trouble actually loading the page. Chrome won't load at all, Firefox is iffy, PaleMoon (a Firefox knock-off) is hit or miss. I'm on IE right now on my workplace computer, and it seems(?) to be working.

Is anyone else still having trouble? I've been following a discussion in the Hyperboards Support forum, and the bottom line is that the uber-Admins are nowhere to be found, and if they're even aware of the issue they haven't commented and apparently haven't done anything about it.

Let me know, either here or on The Bloks Forum's FB page, if you're still having issues (or if new ones pop up).

Same deal as before. Nothing will load past a certain point on the main page (and in some longer threads) until I click into a thread and then back out onto the main page.

It's not ideal, but functional. At least most of what I'm checking-in regularly for is above the main page blockade.

Interesting that you should mention that. Does anyone find that their favorite go-to part of the Forum is inaccessible because it's below the blockade?

Would it help to rearrange things a bit?

I usually check the posts lower down which don't load on the main page when I first try but if I go back to a post I've read like this one and then click the bloks forum button it will load the whole page properly or at least let me access the posts I'm after.

I've found the forum works a lot better in Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari browsers than in Chrome or Firefox.

I have major issues with Safari and Firefox on my Mac at home. At work I can use Chrome with no problems.

I have minimized some of the main categories on the main forum page, this solved the loading and display of the categories further down (which interrests me).
Otherwise loading of the main page always stopped right before "General Chatter, Other Brands", so "Original Creations / Vehicles, Structures & Scenes" wasn't displayed at all.

From the main page, clicking on the "latest Post" link does not work, because the page would not load completely.
But if I select the desired board under the main category and then click directly on the page number of the subject I want to read, the page will load completely.
Just clicking on the subject title and then browsing the subject with "next" and "prev" won't work though.

So it's still quite annoying ... Smiley

Good tip on the category minimization. I collapsed Product Data (I know where it is when I need it) and Marketplace General and have been having pretty good luck so far.

FWIW - I've noticed this problem in Chrome for Windows, but it does not seem to happen on Chrome for Mac.

Anyone else noticed this too?
