And now for the Minion Mobile Toy Review!
I lucked out and found this at my local TRU last night. Sets were going fast as there is currently a Buy One Get One 40% sale on ALL Mega Bloks. Minions were getting pretty cleaned out though. I got one of the two Mobile left.

Okay, I know, on with the review already, LOL.

The cost of the set is $19.99 normal retail (non-sale price).
This set contains 194 pieces and features the following Minions:
Jerry (short) Minion
Kevin (tall) Minion

As always, Mega has great box art. This one is excellent. I like that it shows Gru's house. (I'm hoping we get a Gru house set in the future. Something more than just the Fire Rescue set.)

Here are the contents. The largest bag (back right) has a few smaller bags within.

Here the pieces are all sorted out.

In the 4-part pic below, the mobile's body base starts to come together.

The next 2-part graphic shows the body's top and bottom (heh heh, bottom...yes, I made that joke again). I like that Mega was able to incorporate wheels and yet have them hidden in the final build. You'll see that later.

In the pic, red stabilizing bloks are added to the bottom of the mobile. The top part of the mobile is having it's driver section constructed, while the back seat bucket is added.

Here the mobile is finished. You can have either the short OR tall minion drive. It's up to you. Either of them fits. I'll show you a pic in a moment.

Here are the accessories with the set. There's a tool box. Then the following tools: Power Ratchet (At least, that's what I think it is); Wrench; Socket Wrench; Hammer; Crowbar; Wire Cutters; Monkey Wrench; Screwdriver.

Other than the three stabilizing red bloks, I only had three small extra. Nothing I could really make from them.

Here you see the figs with their hats off, then on. The tall hair comes out of the tall minion so that you can put the hat on. Be careful not to lose that part (hair).

Here you now see the figures in/on the mobile. I'm showing the tall one driving so that you know either can fit. Just not both at once...

Oooohhhh, looks like Jerry is up to something 'despicable'. Is he going to conk Kevin on the head with that hammerSmiley

and lastly, but not least(ly), I suggest that when not in use, you store your tools inside the mobile. I turned the steering column around so that the tool box and tools could fit in. Easy way to keep them safe and secure.

With 194 pieces at a cost of $19.99, this is darn near spot on to the 10 cents per piece that many of we collectors gauge for reasonable value.

The mobile is a fun little set. As you can see from the pics above, you can't even tell it has wheels, so it looks like it's floating.

One thing I immediately thought of for those who might not be collecting this line, but are custom builders of Mega Bloks is the potential for some really great angled and curved pieces. So might I suggest to you customizer to get this set if nothing but for the pieces?! (I'll be happy to buy those Minions off of you...).

The tube where the driver is at easily comes off. So no worries.there. As for the difficulty of the build, for experienced builders this is EASY. However, since this line is likely to be bought for younger fans, this of all the sets is the hardest to build. Again, it's not hard for adults or older kids. I do suggest if anyone is getting this for a child that is 6 or younger that you help them with the build. The box says 5+. That's close enough.

I have no issues with this set. Personally, I'd have liked to have had another Minion, but that's because I love those little guys! Maybe an additional one-eyed goggle to swap out would have been nice. But again, that's just me thinking out loud.

This so far is the only vehicle set in the Despicable Me line. It's very representative of what you see in the movie and fits in well with the other sets.

I give this a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it didn't get the perfect 10 is due to the chance of loosing those small tool pieces, unless you use my tip when not in use.

Do I recommend the set? Hmm, I think you already know what I'm going to say.

Heck yeah!

I hope you've liked ready this review. If so, please reply below and let me know.
